Life At Roo Lan

Whether you’ve come to Roo Lan to stay or are just healing up on your way home, there’s always something going on to keep you occupied. Our dedicated Activities Director ensures there are daily events to keep guests and residents engaged in a wide variety of social, physical, and spiritual activities.
The monthly itinerary changes with the time of year and seasonal holidays are always celebrated to keep everyone connected with the world around them. Outside entertainers are also brought in for our residents who can’t leave the community on a regular basis and include everything from musicians and dance troupes to craft specialists and animal handlers.

Lilly and Gary
Guests and residents of Roo Lan who don’t find anything of interest on the Activities Calendar can always request a visit from Lilly, our official service dog. Specially trained to help people with anxiety and PTSD, Lilly’s a Terrier Sheep Dog that just happens to bay like a Beagle. Our driver Gary rescued her from a shelter as a pup and she’s been his faithful companion ever since. Lilly Also accompanies Roo Lan Residents out to doctor’s appointments upon request.
